We welcome children from 8 weeks old until they start school, and are open to families of all languages and backgrounds.
The director is bilingual (French/English), and available to help meet the needs of families.

Nursery-Garderie-Atelier de Lutry sàrl was founded in 1998 by Cathy Chauvet after years of both educational and professional experience. With her rich and diverse background in early-childhood development, this space was born from her desire to create a welcoming space that respects the specific needs of each child, while cultivating a strong bond with parents.
Small groups where each child

Our spaces are organized into small groups, where we offer each child personalized attention and an environment conducive to their development.
We support each child in a variety of activities/workshops that focus on discovery and fun, and that respect the child’s desires and needs within a caring environment.
We encourage curiosity by exploring the outside world. Our central location allows us to jump on a bus, train, or simply stroll by the lake. With nature at our doorstop, you may find us wandering through the vineyards or birdwatching in the forest.

Everything you need to know
before we welcome your child
- Hours: 7am-6pm – 5 days a week.
- Flexibility: schedules according to the needs of each family.
- Continuous supervision : from 8 weeks until school entry.
- Annual closures: 2 weeks in summer and between Christmas and New Year.
- Meals for babies and older babies — up to18 months — are supplied by parents to ensure that dietary routines remain the same.
- Meals served to toddlers and children at L’Atelier have the Fourchette Verte label.
- Language: French | Bilingual French/English director.
